CANINE SERVICE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• All dogs must be fully vaccinated, microchipped, and free from transmissible health  conditions prior to their first walk and throughout the duration of your contract.

• All dogs must carry an identification tag clearly displaying the owner’s contact details during every walk. 

• All dog walking equipment (e.g. leads, harness, muzzles) should be provided by the owner, be safe and in good working order, and be properly fitted to your dog(s) prior to each walk.  

• Any behavioural issues or specific needs must be declared during your consultation and  whilst we will do our best to accommodate your dog(s) specific needs, we reserve the right to terminate the contract if any behaviours cause distress to either your dog(s) or other dogs during their walks. 

Dog Walking: 

• Morning and/or Afternoon Walks available Monday to Friday, on any individual or combination of days. 

• Minimum booking of one walk per week with advanced notice required.

• Full day boarding available for a set fee. 

• Dog walks will constitute 45-60 minutes walking in all weathers. 

• Location will vary within the local area. 

• Dogs will be walked mostly off the lead, where it is safe to do so, unless otherwise specified by the owner.  

• Group walks will consist of a maximum of six dogs.  

• New dog(s) will be assessed within the group to ensure compatibility and will only be exercised off the lead once they are comfortable and able to socialise with the other dogs appropriately. 

• Care will be taken to always ensure the safety of your dog(s), however in the event of injury your dog will be assessed and, if required, taken to the nearest vet for immediate treatment and you, or your emergency contact, will be immediately notified.

• We maintain public liability insurance cover at all times. 

Collection and Return: 

• Morning collection between 9 and 10am, drop off between 11am and 12pm.

• Afternoon collection between 1 and 2pm and drop off between 3 and 4pm.

• Collection and drop off times may vary, depending on route, however, minimum walk times will be maintained.  

• Collection from your home and transport to walk location is provided safely, in dog transport cages, in our fully electric zero emission van. 

• Collection and drop off can be arranged in your absence. 

Doggy Full-Day Care: 

• Collection between 9 and 10am and return between 3 and 4pm.  

• Your dog(s) will join both morning and afternoon walks and stay with me during my  lunch break at home, with my own dogs.  

Payment: 

Up to date pricing can be found on the services section of the website.

All fees must be paid at least one week in advance by Sunday prior to your booking, payed via a standing order set up by you. Advanced booking is required of at least one week. Late payments will be subject to a fee of an additional £5 per week overdue.

Bookings may be cancelled or amended up to 72h in advance, thereafter a fee of 50% of the cost of the service booked will apply. Cancellations within 24h of the date booked will be charged at full price.

Cancellation by us for any reason will result in a full refund for any services booked.

Retention Fees: 

It is expected that your dog(s) will attend dog walking on a regular weekly basis and a retention fee of 50% of your usual services will apply to maintain your space during your dog(s) absence. This will be calculated based on the average cost of services rendered to  you during the month prior to the absence.

If you need to take a break from regular service for any reason, our retention fee applies, however for long term illness or operation recovery the fee may be waived depending on your individual circumstances. In the case of long-term absences, we will try our best to accommodate you, however, your space may not be guaranteed.

Home Entry: 

By signing the contract, you consent to canine and equine care holding a set of keys to your home and give permission for us to enter your home in order to collect/drop off your dog(s), if required by you. We will always ensure that your home is left both secure and as we find it. If you have an alarm system, please make sure this has been demonstrated to us in advance and any code required also provided.
